Year 1

To our lovely year 1,

Well what a year we have had. It's is such a shame that we didn't have a full year together but we are so thankful that we had the opportunity to be your teachers. The time that we did have, was filled with fun, learning and laughter. Thank you so much for all of the gifts that you have given us, we really appreciate it. It was lovely to see so many of you at our goodbye day, we loved being able to say goodbye properly.

We wish you all the best for next year and we are sure you will show the year 2 teachers just how amazing each and every one of you are.

Have a lovely summer holiday and I am sure we will see all of you to wave to next year.

Stay safe and take care.

Good morning to our lovely year 1's,

Thank you so much for the pictures you have been sending in of your learning. It's lovely to see your faces too. Your mum's and dad's should have received a letter about a story time session that is taking place in a few weeks. We really do hope to see you there so we can say goodbye. Please let the office know by tomorrow if you can make it or not. Thank you to those who have already responded.

Hope to see you soon and enjoy the rest of your week.

Take care and stay safe,

Dear our lovely Year 1,

Can you believe it is nearly the end of this term already? It has flown by and we are so proud of all of the learning you have achieved. It has been so nice to see all of the emails still coming through to our Year 1 account, we have especially loved seeing and hearing how much you have enjoyed it.

We hope you have a lovely half term break and enjoy the sunshine - let's hope it lasts! There is no learning planned for next week even though it states that on the plan - sorry we got muddled dates again  So, you can continue the last week of this block of home learning with the Snail and the Whale on the 1.6.20.

Thanks again for all of the lovely emails, please keep them coming!

Take care and stay safe,

The Year 1 team x

To our lovely year 1 family,

Welcome back, we hope you enjoyed the Easter break.

Although we are still home learning, it is the start of a new term and we have lots of exciting things for you to do at home.

The book which we have used to plan your next two week cycle is 'Oliver's vegetables', sorry for the date confusion. It has been sorted now. We really hope that you will enjoy this book and learning that we have planned.

The year 1 team look forward to hearing from you and please keep sending us pictures of your learning, we really do love seeing what you have been up to.

Stay safe

Happy Easter!

Dear year 1,

We would like to start with a massive thank you to all that have sent emails and pictures so far. They really do brighten our week and put huge smiles on our faces so thank you. We are so pleased that you have enjoyed the first block of home learning and we are impressed with what you have completed. You should be very proud of yourselves because we certainly are. We hope you have a lovely Easter break, enjoy some sunshine, time with your family and of course eat lots of chocolate! We will be checking the year 1 email account regularly so please keep sending pictures. Don't forget to add a note to give permission to use the pictures on the website.

Thank you.

Stay safe and take care.
