From September 2023, the KS1 tests are now optional for schools.  We are awaiting further instruction from the DfE and The Elliot Foundation Trust regarding this year's tests so that we can make an informed decision at Westwood.  We will update parents and this page as we have more information.

End of KS1 Standard Assessment Tests (SATs) usually take place in May eachj year. The exact dates of the KS1 SATs tests vary school to school with each choosing their own dates within a certain range. The dates selected by schools will vary based on a number of different factors, but we do know that the tests will take place in May.
