Expertise and Training to support learners
Within the SEN and Inclusion Team, there is a wealth of experience. The full time equivalent SENCO role is shared by two experienced, qualified teachers. The Inclusion Manager and Inclusion Leader are also experienced, qualified teachers.
- The SEN and Inclusion Team provide support to the staff team, so that they are able to plan for and support the diverse special educational needs of the children in our care
- Teachers, teaching assistants and other staff may be invited to attend training to further their knowledge and skills.
- Training opportunities are identified because they are relevant to the changing needs of the children in our school community.
- Performance management supports the identification of staff that may require additional support or training, to further equip them to meet the needs of all pupils.
